I would recommend it for anyone in the area, and hopefully there won’t be a huge party going on to taint the experience! One of the waitresses said that if it was too loud, they were happy to move us to a different space. I actually felt bad for the staff as many of the other guests were very demanding, and clearly intoxicated. They were very very understaffed when we arrived (not their fault), which did cause a bit of a delay with ordering and food arriving. We came on a night where there was a huge party of about 20 people. It’s a little dark, but they do offer to turn a little light on for you if you can’t see the menu.
The flounder was a bit bland to me, but my partner liked it, so maybe that’s just a me-issue.
The platter is a teensy bit on the pricey side but the calamari was melt-in-the-mouth and the salad was well-dressed. Got the Pippie’s seafood platter as well as the whole fried flounder. “Very nice staff, and decent food that will fill you up.
